The Batch Maker is responsible for producing all liquid bases for the production team to use to make into our delicious gelatos and sorbettos.

You prefer working independently most of the time.

• MOST IMPORTANTLY
• You’re flexible to work early mornings or late nights to ensure the base is ready when the team arrives. Typically, shifts are from 7am to 3pm, but can start as early as 1am or as late as 8am depending on production needs. This is the second batch-making shift, with some time on the line. If you love watching sunrises through large windows in a vibrant, creative environment, this role is for you.

YOUR MISSION

Under the supervision of the Production Lead, the Batch Maker produces liquid bases for the production line, ensuring GMP and food safety standards are maintained. You will set and exemplify Righteous Quality and Integrity with every shift.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver on the Ten Things that Require Zero Talent : punctuality, work ethic, effort, body language, attitude, passion, coachability, extra effort, preparedness.
• Maintain product knowledge, including ingredients and allergens (training provided).
• Inspect raw materials for quality and safety.
• Follow flavor batch sheets to weigh, measure, and process ingredients into batches.
• Ensure traceability of ingredients with detailed records.
• Contribute to teamwork, including working on the production line as needed.

KEY SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Flexibility for early mornings, evenings, overnights, and occasional weekends (typically 7am to 3pm).
• Strong communication, basic math, reading, and writing skills.
• Reliability and attention to detail.
• A passion for quality frozen treats and quality assurance.
• Willingness to get hands dirty and go above and beyond.
• A friendly, positive attitude that boosts team spirit.

Experience in food manufacturing, production, or food service is a plus but not required. Food Safe Certification is a bonus.
