Provide assistance to crew and supervisors / management with duties in the field and shop.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Have or acquire a class 3 licence with Q endorsement
2. Able to work on a 24 hour on call basis
3. Complete basic safety courses
4. Complete customer safety courses as required
5. Complete appropriate paperwork and submit in a timely manner
6. Maintain required safety, operational and regulatory documentation as required
7. Perform pre / post trips on units
8. Maintain a log book and other required documentation
9. Perform hot shots when required
10. Assist with cleaning shop, yard and equipment
11. Keep wireline units stocked with supplies
12. Perform regular maintenance on wireline trucks and auxiliary equipment (under supervision)
13. Rig in / rig out lubricator, logging tools, sheaves and other equipment as required
14. Assist loading perforating guns (under supervision and upon completion of required training)
15. Understand and operate various meters (megohmmeter, simpson, digital / fluke, etc.)
16. Learn how to disassemble and service various rope sockets / cable head
17. Basic knowledge of pressure control equipment and tools
18. Give proper crane hand signals as per advanced driver training
19. Understanding of basic wellbore mechanics and design (size)
20. Differentiate between sweet and sour well operations
21. Install tire chains (under supervision)
22. Mixoil well cement

Education and Experience
