Description

Purpose:

The primary purpose of this position is to work product through the production process.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Know what production is required during shift
2. Follow established quality specifications
3. Ability to keep up with machines
4. Work in a safe manner, being aware of things around you
5. Have proper knowledge of product handling and the ability to differentiate between products
6. Strive to comply with the vision statement of Hain Celestial
7. Communicate any concerns or deviations to supervisor in a timely manner
8. Responsible for food safety and quality
9. Ability to follow directions
10. Responsible for reporting food safety problems to supervisor
11. Work in a professional manner within station and with other stations
12. All employees are responsible for food and safety quality
13. All employees are responsible to report food safety and quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
14. Perform other duties as instructed by supervisor

Competencies:

1. Knowledge to perform continuous quality checks of product, looking for deviations
2. Have the required HACCP knowledge for assigned station
3. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of internal contacts
