Job summary

DME Process Systems in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, is seeking motivated Production Labourers to join our production team. This role supports the manufacturing process through fit-up, grinding, polishing, and handling of stainless-steel components in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has experience in manufacturing or metal fabrication, but training will be provided to individuals with strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience in manufacturing or metal fabrication is an asset.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools is an asset.
• Experience with stainless steel grinding and polishing is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform fit-up, grinding, and polishing of stainless-steel products and components.
• Operate hand tools and production equipment safely and efficiently.
• Support fabrication and production activities across multiple departments.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail.
• Perform material handling and general labour duties as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Assist with housekeeping and organization of the production facility.
• Meet production timelines and daily work expectations.
• Lift and handle materials weighing up to 100lbs when required.
• Support other production activities as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing or metal fabrication; however, training will be provided to individuals with strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to learn.

Reporting to the Production Team Lead, the Production Labourer will support various areas of production while maintaining quality workmanship and safe work practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform fit-up, grinding, and polishing of stainless-steel products and components
• Operate hand tools and production equipment safely and efficiently
• Support fabrication and production activities across multiple departments
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail
• Perform material handling and general labour duties as required
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Assist with housekeeping and organization of the production facility
