Job summary

McCain Foods (Canada) in Grand Falls, NB, is seeking General Labourers to join our Fry Plant team. You will support safe, efficient production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while upholding safety, quality, and operational standards.

The role involves a demanding 12-hour rotating shift (4-on/4-off), walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 35–40 lbs. Team players who are dependable and safety-minded are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Ability to work a rotating shift schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong teamwork skills and a reliable attendance record.
• Good mathematical skills and the ability to accurately complete production documentation.
• Demonstrated initiative, engagement, and continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of yourself and your co-workers at all times.
• Follow changeover policies and operational requirements.
• Perform sanitation duties as required.
• Troubleshoot, adjust, and maintain equipment to support production operations.
• Follow GMPs and CCP requirements.
• Support achievement of KPIs and SQCDPE targets.
• Participate in safety programs and team meetings.
• Complete required core curriculum and e-learning training programs.
