Job summary

American Biaxis Inc. is seeking a Production Team Assistant to join our Production Department in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The role reports to the Production Supervisor and focuses on safely operating assigned production areas while meeting targets for quality, output, and waste.

Ongoing training will broaden competency across the floor. The position is 100% onsite with a 12-hour shift rotation including days and nights; candidates must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and adapting to

Qualifications

• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
• High school diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent.
• Ability to operate with hand and/or power tools.
• Willingness to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
• Lifts up to 50 pounds (22.5 kg).
• 1+ year of clear verbal/written team communication experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely and effectively operate assigned production areas, providing support as needed.
• Monitor processes to meet targets for quality, output and waste.
• Identify and resolve production issues; escalate to senior teammates as required.
• Develop expertise in specific areas and share knowledge with the team.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Dismantle, clean, and perform routine equipment maintenance; report issues promptly.
• Complete all required documentation and logbook entries.
