Job summary

Winpak in Winnipeg, MB is seeking a MBVS Cast Extrusion Supervisor to lead the Cast Extrusion crew and drive safety, quality and productivity on a 12‑hour rotation. Reporting to the Senior Extrusion Manager, you will monitor daily performance, implement standard work, and collaborate with maintenance to optimize reliability.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing, strong communication skills, and experience with continuous improvement. Onsite work at 100 Saulteaux Crescent, Winnipeg.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on safety and productivity.
• Ability to communicate effectively across departments and levels.
• Experience with continuous improvement approaches is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe and productive operations for the Cast Extrusion team.
• Monitor performance, provide daily updates to staff, and track KPIs.
• Develop standard work procedures and reinforce processes with hourly staff.
• Manage production requirements with focus on safety, quality and waste.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in safety, quality and productivity.
• Engage in ongoing training and upskilling of the crew.
• Coordinate with maintenance to improve reliability and control costs.
• Participate in safety talks, inspections, and related crew meetings.
