Job summary

Safran Landing Systems in Mirabel, QC, seeks a seasoned operations leader to supervise finishing and production teams within a unionized manufacturing environment. The role focuses on delivering production plans, optimizing resources, and maintaining high safety and quality standards.

You will collaborate with quality, maintenance, HR and suppliers while mentoring staff and driving continuous improvement across the plant. Proficiency in French and English is essential.

Qualifications

  • Relevant university degree or experience.
  • Approximately 10 years of relevant experience in a similar position.
  • Fluent communication in French and English to interact across Safran sites.

The Mirabel plant is dedicated to manufacturing major components of landing gear for Airbus A320, A330, and A350 models, as well as the Boeing 787. It features state-of-the-art equipment for machining, polishing, and special processes, including heat treatment, shot peening, and surface treatments.The manager is responsible for all operations of a value chain to ensure performance in terms of delivery, production, efficiency, quality, and health, safety, and environment (HSE).
