Job summary

Safran Landing Systems in Mirabel, Canada, is seeking a metallurgy operator to perform heat treatment, shot peening and various metallurgical processes on landing gear components. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and assemble parts.
  • Perform heat treatment or shot peening operations.
  • Conduct laboratory tests (hardness, tensile, saturation).
  • Perform non-destructive testing (magnetic).
  • Detect and resolve technical issues; carry out visual inspections to ensure specifications.
  • Complete quality assurance documentation; support safety, quality, costs and on-time delivery goals.
