Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Production Coordinator in Surrey, BC, to schedule and coordinate the flow of work within a manufacturing plant. You will review master production schedules, establish priorities for customer orders, and revise schedules based on availability of workers and materials.

Qualifications

• Experience in production scheduling and planning.
• Data entry and ERP systems knowledge.
• Supply chain management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Order entry and inventory management.
• Minimum 2-3 years experience managing schedules, workflow, safety, personnel, and equipment.
• Familiarity with production methods, materials, and final products in the industry.
• Solid understanding of engineering principles and drafting procedures.

Job Title: Production Coordinator

Job Description

We are seeking a Production Coordinator who will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating the flow of work within or between departments of a manufacturing plant to expedite production. The role involves reviewing master production schedules and work orders, establishing priorities for specific customer orders, and revising schedules according to work order specifications, established priorities, and the availability or capability of workers, parts, materials, machines, and equipment. The Production Coordinator will also be responsible for rescheduling identical processes to eliminate duplicate machine setups and distributing work orders to departments, denoting the number, type, and proposed completion date of units to be produced.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $31.25/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
