Job summary

Phoenix Fence Corp. has an on-site position in Canada demanding strong logistics and coordination skills.

The candidate will compile orders, develop prioritization plans, organize tasks, and oversee the organization’s operational logistics for multiple projects at the physical location. The role involves coordinating with production and other departments, revising material requirements, tracking work orders, and providing customer service while ensuring timely, cost-efficient production runs.

Qualifications

  • College/CEGEP or equivalent education required.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience stated.
  • On-site position with no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities

  • Compile orders and instructions received from customers.
  • Develop specific plans to prioritize.
  • Organize tasks to accomplish the work.
  • Oversee operational logistics of the organization.
  • Plan and organize operational logistics of the organization.
  • Revise type and quantity of materials required sent for production, construction and other projects.
  • Track and complete work orders.
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments.
  • Co-ordinate traffic flow of supplies.
  • Prepare and maintain progress and other reports.
  • Provide customer service.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies.
  • Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders
  • Dispatch personnel as required by emergencies
  • Maintain vehicle operator work records
  • Respond to urgent calls from life threatening situations
  • Schedule assignments and co-ordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews and equipment
  • Organize and maintain inventory

  • Assist with maintenance of communications equipment
  • Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders
  • Dispatch personnel as required by emergency situations

  • Respond to urgent calls from individual who find themselves in life threatening situation and who require assistance
  • Schedule assignments and co-ordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews and equipment
