Job summary

Kissner Milling Company is seeking Production Associates to help pack salt and manage material handling in a busy production environment, ensuring safety, quality and productivity as directed by the Plant Manager. You will operate bagging and sealing equipment, palletize finished goods, and maintain accurate production records while adhering to all safety policies.

Prior production experience is a plus; ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying temperatures is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.
• Must wear steel-toed shoes, safety glasses & hard hat.
• Must be able to speak and read basic English.
• Must be able to attend work regularly, as attendance is a requirement of the position.
• Must be able to work in varying temperatures in production environment.
• Prefer candidates who have production or manufacturing experience.
• Prefer candidates who have experience operating equipment.

Responsibilities

• Handles and lifts, and moves empty and full salt bags and packages.
• Operates baggers and sealers according to established procedures.
• Ensure product is bagged, sealed and palletized according to specifications.
• Aid and assist the line leader.
• Ensure only product that meets specifications is passed to the next process step.

• Communicate all concerns affecting safety, quality, productivity and the work environment to the Line Leader.

The expected hourly rate for this position is $18.95. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as education, experience, skillset, or location. This position is for an existing vacancy.
