Job summary

Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Production Associate - Automotive Metal Stamping in the Lasalle area near Windsor, Ontario. The role focuses on the final stages of product manufactured before shipping and supports the production line with tasks such as reworking, packing, and sorting parts.

Successful candidates will have at least one year of manufacturing experience and be available for a 3-shift rotation (days, afternoons, and midnights).

Qualifications

• At least one year of manufacturing experience.
• Available for a 3 shift rotation (days, afternoons and midnights).
• Reliable transportation to and from work (not on a bus route).
• Comfortable lifting heavy materials 60+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the final stages of product manufactured before shipping to customers.
• Support production line work, such as reworking, packing, and sorting parts.
• Assist and provide support to press operators.
• Assist operators with set up procedures.
• Support the maintenance, tooling, quality, and logistics departments.
• Perform quality checks and ensure product meets specifications.
• Utilizing welding and grinding hand tools.
• Maintain & improve housekeeping within work area.

We have positions available that help you gain experience and grow your knowledge of the automotive industry. This company is a comprehensive provider of flat-rolled steel production providing products to a variety of industries including automotive and infrastructure. Locally, we focus on producing top of the line steel and metal parts to many of the top auto makers in North America.

Total rewards:$19.82 hourly

A typical day:
