Job summary

Lynden Door in Winnipeg is seeking a hands-on door assembler to join our manufacturing team. You will use basic hand-tools to assemble interior and exterior door units, following work orders and safety guidelines.

Shift is Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm, with compensation of $16 to $20 per hour. We offer extended medical, dental, and vision, life insurance, RRSP, and safety footwear reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Door shop/industry experience preferred.
• Carpentry/woodworking experience preferred.
• Ability to safely operate basic shop tools.
• Read measurements to 1/32 of an inch and understand work orders.
• Must be able to stand for the full shift.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs., occasionally 70 lbs.
• Attention to detail and quality.

Duties

In this role you will use basic hand-tools (saws, drills, nail guns) to assemble interior and exterior door units.

Shift

Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm

Compensation

$16 to $20 per hour

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Door shop/industry experience preferred
• Carpentry/woodworking experience preferred
• Comfortable with safely using the basic shop tools (saws, nail guns, pneumatic tools and drills)
• Mathematical aptitude, able to read a tape measure and understand imperial measurements to the 1/32 of an inch
• Understand how to read and comprehend work orders
• Ability to stand for an entire shift
• Ability to safely and frequently lift up to 50 lbs., occasionally lifting up to 70 lbs.
• Attention to detail and quality
