Job summary

Alliance Door Products in Winnipeg is seeking a hands-on assembler to join our door production team. You will use basic hand-tools to assemble interior and exterior door units and work Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm.

The role offers an hourly wage of $16 to $20, with benefits including extended medical, dental, vision, life insurance, RRSP, and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required or preferred.
• Experience in door shop or industry preferred.
• Comfortable with basic shop tools and imperial measurements.

Responsibilities

• Assembles interior and exterior door units using basic hand-tools.
• Reads work orders and ensures quality during assembly.
• Maintains safety and cleanliness of the work area.

Duties:

In this role you will use basic hand-tools (saws, drills, nail guns) to assemble interior and exterior door units.

Shift:

Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm

Compensation (depending on experience):

$16 to $20 per hour

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Door shop/industry experience preferred
• Carpentry/woodworking experience preferred
• Comfortable with safely using the basic shop tools (saws, nail guns, pneumatic tools and drills)
• Mathematical aptitude, able to read a tape measure and understand imperial measurements to the 1/32 of an inch
• Understand how to read and comprehend work orders
• Ability to stand for an entire shift
• Ability to safely and frequently lift up to 50 lbs., occasionally lifting up to 70 lbs.
• Attention to detail and quality
