Job summary

Alliance Door Products in Winnipeg is hiring a Production Assembly Worker to assemble interior and exterior door units using basic hand-tools. The role runs Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm, with compensation of $16 to $20 per hour depending on experience.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED; door shop or carpentry experience is preferred. Willingness to lift up to 50 lbs (70 lbs occasionally) and read imperial measurements is required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Door shop/industry experience preferred.
Carpentry/woodworking experience preferred.
Comfortable with safely using the basic shop tools (saws, nail guns, pneumatic tools and drills).
Mathematical aptitude, able to read a tape measure and understand imperial measurements to the 1/32 of an inch.
Understand how to read and comprehend work orders.
Ability to stand for an entire shift.
Ability to safely and frequently lift up to 50 lbs., occasionally lifting up to 70 lbs.
Attention to detail and quality.
