Job summary

Alliance Door Products in Manitoba is seeking a door assembler to join our shop team. You will assemble interior and exterior door units using basic hand-tools and follow work orders.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm, with compensation of $16 to $20 per hour depending on experience. We offer extended medical, dental, vision, RRSP and other benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Door shop/industry experience preferred.
• Carpentry/woodworking experience preferred.
• Able to safely use basic shop tools (saws, nail guns, pneumatic tools and drills).
• Able to read a tape measure with imperial units to 1/32 inch.
• Understand how to read and comprehend work orders.
• Able to stand for the full shift and lift up to 50 lbs (70 lbs occasionally).
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Shift:

Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm

Compensation (depending on experience):

$16 to $20 per hour

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Door shop/industry experience preferred
• Carpentry/woodworking experience preferred
• Comfortable with safely using the basic shop tools (saws, nail guns, pneumatic tools and drills)
• Mathematical aptitude, able to read a tape measure and understand imperial measurements to the 1/32 of an inch
• Understand how to read and comprehend work orders
• Ability to stand for an entire shift
• Ability to safely and frequently lift up to 50 lbs., occasionally lifting up to 70 lbs.
• Attention to detail and quality
