Job summary

Atomic Cartoons, a Blue Ant Studios Company, is seeking a Production Accountant to support the accounting team with AP, payroll, and remittances. This full-time, permanent role emphasizes accuracy, collaboration, and attention to detail in a dynamic animation studio.

The team operates across Vancouver, Ottawa, and Los Angeles, offering a suite of benefits and a commitment to an inclusive workplace. The successful candidate will have 2–3 years of accounting experience and proficiency in Excel.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary certificate or degree, or equivalent training and/or experience.
• 2–3 years of accounting or related experience.
• Proficiency with Excel is required.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication.
• Experience using NetSuite is an asset.
• Currently legally eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Process AP.
• Prepare Workers Comp and BC EHT remittances.
• Prepare bi-weekly payroll.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
• Prepare intercompany billback invoices.
• Assist with month-end working papers.
• Support other members of the accounting team.

Atomic Cartoons, a Blue Ant Studios Company, is looking for a Production Accountant. This position is a Full-Time, permanent position. The Production Accountant provides support to the Accounting team in various aspects, with an emphasis on AP, government remittances and bank recs. The candidate must be detail-oriented, self-motivated and collaborate well in a team setting.

WHAT YOU WI LL DO:

• Process AP

WHAT WE A RE LOOKING FOR:

In addition to competitive pay, this position is eligible for company-sponsored benefits including medical, GRSP, vacation pay, paid holiday break,paid leave,and a variety of other discounts and perks. Please note: This expected pay range is for British Columbia and is not applicable to locations outside of the province of British Columbia.

Wage ranges are based on a annual wage.

$60,000 - $70,000 CAD
