Job summary

Base Camp Connect in Canada is seeking a Product Training Specialist to transform complex technical concepts into clear, engaging training. You will design and deliver sessions for Defence and Special Forces customers, adapt materials for diverse audiences, and support product adoption across field operations.

You will collaborate with product and support teams, ensure content accuracy, and travel across Canada to train clients in EN/FR. A strong pedagogy and customer focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience creating and delivering technical training.
• Ability to present to clients and guide sessions.
• Strong written and verbal communication in EN/FR.
• Familiarity with IT environments, networks and communication systems.
• Experience in training, tech support, or customer enablement.
• Willingness to travel across Canada.
• Asset: experience in military/defense environments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver training sessions on our products and solutions based on client needs.
• Simplify technical content into clear, practical, and audience-appropriate formats.
• Facilitate quick and effective adoption of our tools, systems, and features.
• Enhance and update training materials, including content for the virtual platform.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the quality, accuracy, and evolution of training content.
• Gather client feedback and propose concrete improvements to training sessions and tools.

Your Profile

• You excel at making technical concepts clear and accessible.
• You’recomfortable leading sessions, presenting, and interacting with clients.
• You combine credibility, autonomy, anda strong teamspirit.
• You have a solid understanding of IT environments, networks, and communication systems.
• You have relevant experience in training, technical support, or customerenablement.
• You’rebilingual (EN/FR), available for frequent travel across Canada, and hold a valid driver’s license.
• Experience in military, defence, or critical communications environments is an asset.
