Qualifications

  • Knowledge / certification in IPC UNIGY and NICE NTR.
  • Experience with Microsoft tools essential.

Job description

What is the opportunity? Join RBC as a Product Specialist supporting the trading infrastructure. Opportunity to provide leadership as a technical subject matter on Unigy, NICE NTR, Compass, IPC, and NTRX. Role includes providing day-to-day on-site trading floor support, located in Toronto. Provides advice and counsel to various functions or business units across RBC. Leads area of expertise workstreams that are part of larger voice initiatives. What will you do?

Manages detailed design phases for large projects / programs identifying, tracking and resolving technical issues and ensuring solutions meets sponsor needs and project life cycle (PLC) deliverables.

Executes on approved strategy and provides recommendations to the Voice Management team for strategy development.

Manages all aspects of testing and verification ensuring all tasks are performed for all interfaces.

Works with Project Manager to determine best mix of development, interfacing applications, third party vendor solutions to meet business requirements and project objectives (maintenance contracts, EOL gear, software upgrades etc)

Develops criteria for and participates in the evaluation of third-party vendors and software as well as due diligence exercises.

Provides input on yearly budget / new project rollouts and gathering the Financials for new project rollouts.

Assess, research, and analyze business and system needs to recommend technology solutions and designs for our UNIGY, COMPASS and NICE NTR systems.

What do you need to succeed? Must-have

University or College Degree in or a related field or Equivalent years of experience as a Senior IT Analyst / Product Manager.

Knowledge / certification in IPC UNIGY and NICE NTR.

Knowledge and experience in Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)

Nice-to-have

ITIL v3 : Foundations, Operational Support & Analysis.

Technical Certification in an IT area.
