Position Summary

Our client is seeking a Product Specialist who blends insurance expertise with a passion for client success and product innovation. In this technical, client-facing role, you’ll design and configure insurance products using internal tools and Excel, translating underwriting rules, rating logic, and policy documents into scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure insurance products using internal tools and Excel-based templates.
  • Translate rating rules and underwriting guidelines into accurate, compliant setups.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Prioritize and manage configuration tasks based on delivery timelines.
  • Participate in product testing, QA, and documentation.
  • Maintain version control and clear records of configuration logic.
  • Use tools like Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps to track work and ensure transparency.
  • Support continuous improvement through collaboration and feedback.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in insurance product development, actuarial work, or underwriting.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including logic-based configuration.
  • Strong understanding of insurance workflows and product structures.
  • Experience with insurance software platforms or configurable SaaS tools.
  • Effective communicator with strong attention to detail.
