The Opportunity

Leavitt Machinery seeks a driven Product Sales Specialist to join our Calgary, Alberta team. You will plan and execute sales and business development efforts in your assigned territory, focusing on selling industrial cleaning equipment (sweepers and scrubbers). This role is based out of our Calgary branch, with most of your time spent meeting potential clients outside the office.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead sales strategy in your territory, prospect new business, and maintain strong customer relationships.
  2. Conduct on-site equipment demonstrations and presentations.
  3. Develop expertise in selling industrial cleaning solutions.
  4. Manage client relationships throughout all sales phases.
  5. Deliver customized, data-driven, and solution-oriented sales pitches.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Sales, or Marketing.
  • 3 to 5 years of outside sales experience, preferably in construction, industrial, machinery, or related industries.
  • Experience in industrial cleaning equipment sales is a strong asset.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • High motivation, resilience, and goal achievement capability, working autonomously and in teams.
  • Strong organizational, planning, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver’s license; willingness to travel within the territory.
