Job summary

IFG International Financial Group Ltd is seeking a Product Owner Consultant / Business Analyst for a 12-month hybrid contract in Toronto (81 Bay Street, 30th Floor). In-office Thursdays are required.

You will lead product vision, manage backlogs, refine requirements with stakeholders, support sprint planning, and drive QA activities including UAT and testing in a financial services context. Collaboration across business leaders and technical teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining QA documentation such as test scripts, results, and process flows.
• Ability to define regression test sets and accurately document defects.
• Strong experience preparing detailed business requirements documentation and process flows.
• Advanced data analysis skills to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Proven ability to present test results, defect summaries, and actionable insights to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead product vision, strategy, and backlog management for Corporate Security.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine business requirements.
• Translate requirements into actionable user stories to support sprint planning.
• Conduct UAT and manual testing, document results, and resolve defects.
• Maintain QA documentation and regression test sets.
• Utilize Jira and MS Project to track progress in Agile environments.
• Partner with business leaders, technical teams, QA analysts, and project managers.
