Job summary

Trail Appliances BC is seeking a strategic Product Owner - Business Systems to own the roadmap and backlog for core business capabilities such as Sales Enablement, Purchasing & Logistics, or Order Management & Finance.

You will challenge current-state processes, identify improvement opportunities, and partner with business and technology teams to deliver measurable outcomes and improved user experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience leading product strategy and roadmaps for enterprise systems.
• Ability to translate business needs into requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Strong analytical skills with KPI-driven decision making.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with testing, UAT, and validating delivered solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain a clear product roadmap for business systems.
• Prioritize backlog based on business value, urgency, and effort.
• Translate business needs into requirements, process maps, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with IT, data, finance, and operations across stakeholders.
• Lead or support testing, UAT, and release readiness processes.
