Job summary

Trail Appliances seeks a Director of Warehouse Operations to lead its major-appliance warehouse network across Delta, the Okanagan, Victoria and Nanaimo. You will design workflows, optimize use of D365, and improve inventory accuracy while ensuring safety and cost controls.

On-site leadership on the floor is required to coach site managers, align budgets with workload, and drive cross-regional performance. This role offers a hands-on, problem-solving leadership style in a fast-growing company.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive warehouse or distribution leadership experience.
• Experience leading managers and large frontline teams across multiple locations.
• Strong knowledge of receiving, inventory control, picking, loading and transfers.
• Ability to connect physical processes with ERP/WMS and lead adoption of D365.
• Budgeting, payroll controls and performance measures.
• Hands-on leadership on the floor with clear expectations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement on-floor warehouse workflows using D365.
• Lead receiving, put-away, storage, picking, staging, and transfers.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and system integrity with cycle counts.
• Develop managers and supervisors; balance staffing and payroll.
• Own warehouse budgets and equipment readiness.
• Drive safety standards in partnership with Health and Safety.
