Job summary

High Tech Genesis Inc. is looking for an experienced Product Owner to support a Government of Canada digital product. In this role, you will lead product strategy, manage the backlog, and guide a multi-disciplinary team within an Agile environment.

Seeking an experienced Product Owner to support a Government of Canada digital product. You will define product vision, manage the backlog, and guide a multi‑disciplinary team in an Agile environment.

In this role, you will:

• Lead product strategy, roadmap, and delivery.
• Prioritize and manage the product backlog.
• Collaborate with developers, UX, BAs, and stakeholders.
• Support Agile ceremonies and ensure alignment with GC standards.
• Communicate progress, risks, and decisions to leadership

Requirements

• Secret Clearance (valid at time of submission).
• 2+ years (within last 5 years) managing a digital product within a Government of Canada department.
• 2+ years (within last 5 years) using Azure DevOps or AWS DevOps.
• 2+ years (within last 5 years) managing an application team of 5+ people

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud environments (Azure/AWS).
• Knowledge of GC digital standards and accessibility.
• Agile/Scrum certifications
