Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Product Operations Specialist in the Pension Domain in a hybrid work environment in Toronto, Ontario. We are seeking an experienced Product Operations Specialist to support the Capital Markets Investment Analytics Technology portfolio. This role coordinates day-to-day Product Operations and supports the effective execution of a defined cloud transformation program and established operational processes.

Accountabilities: Product Operations & Work Management

• Coordinate day-to-day Product Operations activities and operating cadences across the portfolio.
• Ensure target work management processes are consistently executed, maintained, and improved within approved direction.
• Coordinate recurring operational processes such as backlog refinement, replenishment, intake coordination, bug management, bug reviews, checklist reviews, delivery reviews, and related follow-up activities.
• Maintain accurate work management information, including backlog health, priorities, ownership, status, risks, dependencies, decisions, and actions.
• Partner with Product Owners and Product Engineering Leaders to ensure product goals, priorities, and roadmap commitments are clearly documented, communicated, and understood across teams.

Delivery & Cloud Transformation Coordination

• Maintain portfolio cloud transformation roadmaps, milestones, risks, dependencies, decisions, and action plans.
• Coordinate activities across cloud migration workstreams and drive timely follow-up against agreed actions and commitments.
• Prepare and maintain the CMIA weekly update for the broader Cloud Migration Program.
• Perform or coordinate migration readiness assessments, impact analysis, dependency tracking, and related delivery analysis.
• Support Product Engineering Leaders with stakeholder communications, executive updates, and Steering Committee materials.
• Escalate material risks, resource constraints, unresolved ownership, cross-team conflicts, and decisions requiring accountable-leader approval.

Release Readiness & Dependency Management

• Coordinate release readiness activities and ensure delivery, testing, operational, dependency, and communication considerations are identified and tracked.
• Maintain visibility into cross-team, cross-platform, and program-level dependencies and handoffs.
• Facilitate follow-up and resolution activities to reduce execution delays and delivery risk.
• Ensure unresolved dependencies and readiness concerns are clearly communicated and escalated when required.

Jira, Reporting & Governance

• Configure and maintain Jira boards, dashboards, workflows, roadmaps, filters, and automation needed to support effective work management.
• Create and maintain processes and reporting views that improve visibility, accountability, and follow-through.
• Support consistent application of agreed Product Operations standards, templates, definitions, and governance practices.
• Ensure Jira data is accurate, complete, and structured to support operational and leadership reporting.

Metrics, Analytics & Insights

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and operational reporting solutions.
• Define, maintain, and improve metrics that provide insight into delivery performance, backlog health, quality and bug trends, roadmap progress, dependencies, risks, and overall portfolio health.
• Translate operational and delivery data into concise, executive-ready insights and recommendations.
• Support leadership decision-making through timely, accurate, and decision-useful reporting.

Operational Connectivity & Continuous Improvement

• Serve as the operational connector across Product, Engineering, Architecture, Data, Operations, business stakeholders, and delivery partners.
• Create clarity across teams by ensuring priorities, dependencies, risks, handoffs, and required decisions are understood.
• Identify pain points and recommend practical improvements to intake, coordination, documentation, reporting, and delivery processes.
• Support adoption of agreed Product Operations practices and contribute improvement ideas without replacing the decision rights of Product Owners or Product Engineering Leaders.

Successful candidates will have:

• 4+ years of experience in Product Operations, Agile Delivery, Scrum Master, Delivery Coordination, Project or Program Coordination, or a related technology delivery role.
• Demonstrated experience supporting Agile software delivery teams and independently coordinating work across multiple stakeholders.
• Practical knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, backlog management, release readiness, and modern technology delivery practices.
• Strong Jira experience, including dashboards, reporting, board configuration, workflows, automation, roadmaps, and dependency tracking.
• Strong Power BI experience, including dashboard development, data visualization, operational reporting, and KPI reporting.
• Experience developing and maintaining delivery metrics, scorecards, reports, and executive-ready materials.
• Sufficient technical understanding to engage effectively with engineers, architects, data teams, and technology leaders and to connect delivery impacts across systems and workstreams.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and maintain consistent follow-through with limited supervision.

You’ll receive:$50.00 - $70.00 hourlya 6 month contract extendable

Additional Competencies:

• Relevant bachelor's degree, college diploma, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Scrum Master, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or equivalent Agile certification.
• Experience in financial services, investment management, capital markets, or an enterprise technology environment.
• Experience supporting cloud migration, modernization, or other complex technology change initiatives.
• Experience with Azure, Confluence, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement experience.
