Job summary

Silk & Snow in Toronto is seeking a Coordinator, Product Operations to join our product team and ensure vendor data and product information are accurate, tracked, and updated promptly. You will liaise between vendors and internal teams to keep details right.

You will coordinate launches, audit data, support SKU updates, and help maintain our product information systems with a focus on accuracy, timelines, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years experience in product management, product development, sourcing, merchandising, or a related discipline.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, or a related field.
  • Previous experience with Shopify is considered an asset.
  • Experience in consumer products, including furniture, home goods, and bedding, within a retail and/or eCommerce environment is an asset.
  • Proficient in Excel and/or Google Sheets.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple timelines, tasks, and stakeholders at the same time.
  • Resourceful, proactive, and a true team player.

Responsibilities

  • Support product launches by coordinating key stages including sampling, channel setup, launch, and post-launch updates in partnership with the Product Team.
  • Coordinate required product details before launch, including SKU information, dimensions, weights, materials and packaging ensure all required product information is ready before products move to channel setup, in partnership with external vendors.
  • Track product changes after launch, including packaging updates, specification changes, variant additions, and product page updates.
  • Maintain accurate product information within internal trackers, product databases, and shared documents resulting in accurate and timely updates.
  • Support SKU creation, SKU updates, product attributes, variant details, product specifications, and packaging information.
  • Perform a quarterly audit of the product source of truth to identify missing, outdated, or inconsistent data; communicating directly with vendors to collect details.
  • Onboard new vendors by communicating and documenting their business information required for Finance, Supply Chain and Product teams.
  • Review and organize product performance data, including returns and warranty claims, to facilitate product improvements and assist in coordinating vendor credit chargebacks.
  • Monitor vendor and product testing/audit reports to ensure they remain valid and up to date, and work with the Product team to arrange third party quality control inspections and/or factory audits to ensure compliance.

They are organized, able to communicate effectively across teams and keen to get the details right.

In this role you will:

Additional Information:

This is a current open position. The salary range for this position is $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 annually. Actual salary for the role may vary depending on work location of the successful candidate and other factors including but not limited to, skills, education, experience, working conditions and the local labour market.
