Job summary

Silk & Snow is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our Supply Chain team in Toronto. You will maintain inventory health across our North American distribution network while coordinating domestic transportation between manufacturers, distribution centres and 3PLs.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues, improve processes, and support a seamless customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or operations.
  • Experience coordinating domestic transportation (FTL/LTL) with 3PLs, carriers, freight brokers, and warehouses.
  • Working knowledge of ERP, WMS, TMS, or inventory management systems; ability to learn new systems.
  • Strong analytical and attention to detail skills; ability to identify trends and resolve issues.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and able to own day-to-day logistics operations.
  • Advanced proficiency with Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups).

Responsibilities

  • Deliver weekly inventory reconciliation across all distribution centres and resolve discrepancies.
  • Plan, schedule, and execute FTL and LTL shipments between manufacturers, DCs, and 3PLs.
  • Coordinate transportation schedules with carriers, warehouses, and internal stakeholders.
  • Track shipments from origin to destination and communicate delays.
  • Optimize truckload utilization and shipment consolidation to reduce costs.
  • Maintain relationships with carriers and monitor service performance to meet SLAs.
  • Source and onboard carrier partners to expand capacity while controlling rates.
  • Manage inventory transfers between 3PLs, 4PLs and DCs with accuracy.
  • Maintain data across ERP, WMS and other systems for accurate reporting.
  • Collaborate with Merchandising, Demand Planning, Customer Experience, Warehouse Ops and Finance to analyze performance and drive improvements.
  • Support continuous improvement projects to streamline logistics and visibility.
  • Assist with network optimization initiatives as the business grows.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Coordinator, Logistics to join our Supply Chain team. The Coordinator, Logistics will report to the Manager, Operations & Fulfillment and be responsible for maintaining inventory health across our North American distribution network while coordinating domestic transportation between manufacturers, distribution centres (DCs), and third-party logistics (3PL) partners. You will play a key role in ensuring inventory is positioned to meet customer demand while optimizing transportation costs and maintaining inventory accuracy and meeting delivery time SLAs.

As a Logistics Coordinator, You Will
  • Deliver weekly inventory reconciliation across all distribution centres, identifying, investigating, and resolving inventory discrepancies, shipment variances, damages, and claims to maintain accurate inventory records and minimize operational disruptions
  • Plan, schedule, and execute full truckload (FTL) and less-than-truckload (LTL) shipments between manufacturers, distribution centres, and 3PL facilities
  • Coordinate transportation schedules with carriers, warehouses, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely pickups and deliveries
  • Track shipments from origin to destination, proactively communicating delays and resolving transportation issues to minimize operational disruptions
  • Optimize truckload utilization and shipment consolidation to improve transportation efficiency and reduce freight costs
  • Maintain strong relationships with carriers and logistics providers while monitoring service performance and ensuring SLAs are met
  • Source, onboard, and managing carrier partners to expand transportation capacity while maintaining competitive freight rates.
  • Process and manage inventory transfers between 3PLs, 4PLs, and distribution centres while ensuring inventory accuracy and timely execution.
  • Maintain accurate transportation, inventory, and shipment data across ERP, WMS, and other operational systems, resulting in improved inventory accuracy, reliable operational reporting, and informed business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Merchandising, Demand Planning, Customer Experience, Warehouse Operations, and Finance to analyze transportation and inventory performance, identify trends, align inventory positioning with business priorities, and recommend process improvements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline logistics processes, improve inventory visibility, and automate manual workflows.
  • Assist with special logistics projects and network optimization initiatives as the business continues to grow.
The Qualifications And Experience We Like To See
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or operations, preferably within an e-commerce or retail environment.
  • Previous experience coordinating domestic transportation, including truckload (FTL) and LTL shipments as well as working with third-party logistics providers (3PLs), carriers, freight brokers, and warehouse partners.
  • Working knowledge of inventory management, warehouse operations, and transportation processes.
  • Experience using ERP, WMS, TMS, or inventory management systems; ability to quickly learn new systems.
  • Strong analytical and attention to detail skills with the ability to identify trends, investigate discrepancies, and solve operational issues with minimal support.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and comfortable taking ownership of day-to-day logistics operations while continuously seeking process improvements.
  • Advanced proficiency with Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis.

Additional Information

This is a current open position. The salary range for this position is $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 annually. Actual salary for the role may vary depending on work location of the successful candidate and other factors including but not limited to, skills, education, experience, working conditions and the local labour market.
