Job Description: Product Marketing Specialist at Capital Group

Capital Group has experienced rapid growth over the past five years and is poised for further expansion. Strategic marketing, particularly Product Marketing, plays a crucial role in articulating current and future investment services through various marketing materials.

This presents an exciting opportunity for an Associate to join a collaborative environment and contribute to a growing business. The role involves launching new strategies and communicating Capital Group’s distinctive investment process to new audiences while supporting existing strategies.

Responsibilities:
  • Define, plan, and create product and thematic/investment marketing materials to promote our investment offerings.
  • Deliver high-quality marketing content and integrated campaigns aligned with investment themes and business priorities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders including Investment Product and Research teams, Investment Directors, Sales, Compliance, and Marketing colleagues to produce effective marketing content.
  • Create and review messaging and materials supporting the promotion of Capital Group’s investment services.
  • Manage the messaging and content for various marketing assets such as sales books and promotional literature.
  • Ensure investment strategies, product positioning, client feedback, and investment insights are reflected in marketing materials.
  • Coordinate with team members to maintain consistency across marketing channels.
  • Prioritize and deliver marketing toolkits for specific strategies based on business needs.
Candidate Profile:
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in investment product marketing.
  • Deep understanding of investment management and asset management products.
  • Experience creating content supporting marketing and sales of investment products, preferably in Canada.
  • Proven ability to work with sales teams to engage prospects and clients across institutional and intermediary channels.
  • Ability to translate investment and client insights into compelling messaging and content.
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management abilities.
  • High energy, commitment, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
