Product Market Manager, Systems & Automation ($85,000 to $90,000)

Brampton, ON

A leading provider of packaging solutions seeks a Product Market Manager to drive pre-sales activities for their automation solutions & equipment (conveyors, robotics, belt loaders, centrifuge feeders, and pack stackers). This role supports conception, quotation, planning, and execution of projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales of automation solutions, including competitive analysis and sales collateral.
  • Review customer specifications and provide recommendations.
  • Ensure timely completion of quotations and coordination of third-party equipment.
  • Organize and support customer trials.
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations.
  • Train sales and service teams on new applications.
  • Contribute to budget development and achievement.
  • Liaise with internal teams (Service, Sales, Customer Care, Technical).
  • Maintain product knowledge through factory visits.
  • Participate in trade shows and other company events.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 1-2 years in a customer-facing role (sales preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of product marketing experience.
  • Project management experience is an asset.
  • Strong technical aptitude and understanding of packaging equipment.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Valid driver's license, passport, and clean background check.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.

This is an office-based role with travel to customer sites.
