Job summary

Buhler Industries Inc. in Winnipeg, MB is seeking an experienced Product Manager - Tractors to lead the development and lifecycle management of our tractor products.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Production, Service, parts, dealers and end users to align product strategy with market needs and company goals. Responsibilities include defining requirements, launching new features, monitoring market trends, and developing training materials for product launches.

Qualifications

  • 5–10 years of Product Management experience, or equivalent progressive experience in a related role.
  • 5+ years of agricultural equipment experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of product and project management principles.
  • Ability to work effectively with multiple cross-functional teams.
  • Good knowledge of mechanical systems and agricultural equipment.
  • Strong verbal, written, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related business software.
  • Post-secondary education in business, engineering, agriculture, or a related field is an asset.
  • Drivers license and ability cross border travel.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the full tractor product life cycle, from concept and specification through design, launch, and ongoing product improvement.
  • Gather market intelligence through regular interaction with dealers, customers, and end users to identify product needs and opportunities.
  • Develop and execute product strategies and marketing plans aligned with company goals.

  • Monitor competitive tractor products, pricing, and industry trends and use this information to guide product strategy.
  • Analyze and prioritize product improvement requests and customer feedback.
  • Develop strategic plans, customer targets, and product positioning.
  • Develop product training materials and support product launches.
  • Travel to dealerships, customer locations, farm shows, and other industry events as required.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager - Tractors to lead the development and management of our innovative products to meet market needs and drive business growth.
