About the team and the role:
As a Product Manager on eBay’s Seller Experience team, you will be responsible for optimizing the tools our Sellers rely on to operate quickly, accurately and profitably, improving customer satisfaction and marketplace competitiveness. You will drive the roadmap for all finance elements of eBay’s Seller facing Orders experience across Native, My eBay & Seller Hub.
What you will accomplish:
Partner with adjacent domains (Payments, Tax, Shipping, Protections etc.) to identify shared objectives, track dependencies & optimize execution
Become the domain authority in Seller Earnings tools, and represent that perspective in large end to end product initiatives
Drive scalable integrations with partner teams
Collaborate with the Order Fulfillment PM on artifacts like packing slips, invoices, and reporting tools
Work with Design partners to develop a UX that is consistent with eBay design standards, and write user stories with complete acceptance criteria to bring your projects to dev ready
Support development through to release and handle ramp plans, experimentation, and evaluation of initiatives
What you will bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or an equivalent (MBA a plus)
Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting workflows, including P&L, balance sheets, invoicing and order systems
Technical fluency to engage in architectural discussions, contribute to API contract design
3+ years of experience in a product management role working with dedicated scrum teams in an Agile environment
Curiosity, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a consistent record to pull insights from data and customer interviews
Exceptional communication skills, with experience communicating frameworks and decisions to cross-functional teams and partners
Passion for creating outstanding products and genuine compassion for the challenges faced by eBay’s Sellers
