Job summary

FirstService Residential seeks a Product Manager for Business Transformation to drive strategy, development, and success of our product portfolio within real estate and strata management. You will partner with resident care, operations, accounting, technology, and external vendors to prioritize features, develop use-cases, and capture AI opportunities that enhance resident and client experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business or related field.
• MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
• 3 years’ experience as Product Manager or similar role in SaaS/real estate.
• Experience with AI and CX automation in strata/real estate.
• Yardi platform experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of product mgmt principles and Agile.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with product mgmt tools such as Azure/DevOps, Jira.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in SaaS or software product development.
• Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and user research methodology.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the resident care product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and gather customer feedback.
• Ongoing product discovery via user interviews, surveys, analytics; engage stakeholders.
• Collaborate with design and technology teams on AI workflows and config.
• Lead prototype testing with end users (A/B testing, walkthroughs).
• Represent customer needs during the development process.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog with epics and features.
• Communicate product vision and updates to stakeholders and teams.
• Define and track KPIs to measure feature success.
• Work with transformation, marketing, and field teams on go-to-market.

Product Manager – Business Transformation

Duties and Responsibilities

• Define and own the resident care product vision, strategy, and roadmap in collaboration with stakeholders and resident care teams.
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and gather customer feedback to identify opportunities and inform product decisions.
• Conductongoingproductdiscoverythroughuserinterviews,surveys,andanalytics;activelyengagewithstakeholders.
• Work closely with design and technology teams to develop AI workflows, product enhancements, and platform configurations.
• Lead prototype testing with the end users using various methodologies such as A/B testing, prototype walkthroughs and other methods.
• Representcustomerneedsandchallengesduringthedevelopmentprocess
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog by collaborating with business and technology teams to identify epics and features.
• Communicateandarticulateproductvisiontostakeholdersandinternalteams.
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of product features and initiatives.
• Communicate product updates, roadmap changes, and key milestones to internal teams, stakeholders and customers.
• Collaboratewithbusiness transformation team, marketing, and field teams to develop go-to-market and launch strategies.
• Ensure theproductsandfeatureseffectivelysolvecustomerproblemsand deliver value to end users.
• Drive continuousimprovementthroughiterationandexperimentation,usingdata-driveninsightstooptimizeproductperformance.
• Stay informed about AI, industry trends, emerging technologies, and customer needs to inform future product development efforts.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor'sdegreeincomputerscience,Engineering,Business,orrelatedfield.
• MBAoradvanceddegreeisaplus.
• 3years’experienceasaProductManagerorsimilarrole,preferablyinstrata management, real estate, or SaaS industries.
• Experience with implementing AI and CX automation in the strata management / real estate industry.
• Experience with Yardi platform is a plus.
• Strongunderstandingofproductmanagementprinciplesandpractices,withexperienceinAgiledevelopmentmethodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and make data-driven decisions.
• Strongcommunicationandinterpersonalskills,withtheabilitytoeffectivelycollaboratewithcross- functionalteamsandinfluencestakeholders. Effectivedecision-makingabilitiesinstrategyandcustomerconsiderations.

Travel

Travel upwards of one (1) week per month to any FirstService Residential office throughout the US and Canada

Compensation

Compensation for this role is $95,000 to $115,000 + benefits
