Job summary

Esri is seeking a tester for the ArcGIS Location Platform to evaluate services and workflows, and to document issues clearly. The role involves creating test plans, prototyping, sample apps, and helping shape the platform website and dashboard.

You will improve onboarding, credentials, usage, and billing experiences for developers. You will produce code samples, tutorials, and documentation to simplify platform usage, collaborate with engineering and product teams, gather feedback, and

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with APIs, JSON, HTTP and software testing.
  • Familiarity with Git or another source control system.
  • Interest in mapping, cloud services, developer tools, product design, or technical communication.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and learn from feedback.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for events.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, GIS, interaction design, or related field

Join the team building ArcGIS Location Platform, Esri’s platform as a service for developers creating mapping and location-based applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test ArcGIS Location Platform services, APIs, and developer workflows, and clearly document issues

Requirements
