Job summary

NextGenEnergyJobs seeks a Product Engineer to advance the ArcGIS API for Python with a focus on test automation, reporting, and high-quality documentation. You will collaborate with developers and product engineers to build scalable automation and CI/CD workflows.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience in Python programming, RESTful web services, and geospatial technologies such as ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, or ArcGIS Pro
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A passion for software product quality and documentation
  • Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, or other similar geospatial technology
  • Attention to detail, ownership mindset, and commitment to product quality
  • Ability to write clear, accurate, and developer-friendly technical documentation
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, GIS, or a related field
  • Master's degree in in computer science, engineering, mathematics, GIS, or a related field
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions for automated testing, code coverage, and documentation workflows
  • Effective project management, time management, and organizational skills
