Job summary

Esri’s ArcGIS Online team is expanding with a C# Software Engineer I focused on feature services. You will design and build server-side RESTful web services to enable access for developers and geospatial apps, while maintaining components across Azure cloud.

You’ll diagnose performance issues and craft scalable, reusable software within a collaborative, distributed team. The role requires hands-on experience with C#, C++, .NET, REST, JSON, and GIS data concepts, plus familiarity with Git and

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience coding in C#, C++, and .NET platform.
• Experience with Azure cloud computing platforms and services.
• Solid understanding of API design and object-oriented design patterns.
• Fundamental understanding of web services including REST.
• Understanding of spatial databases SQL and/or NoSQL.
• Fundamental knowledge of computational geometry data structures and algorithms.
• Strong knowledge of GIT.
• Familiarity with JSON and HTTP protocol.
• Experience in GIS data structures and algorithms; geospatial and GIS knowledge.
