Job summary

Give and Go Prepared Foods Corp. in Toronto is seeking a motivated student or recent graduate to assist Product Development and Technical Services by developing and updating specifications for process and finished products.

You will collect data, maintain trackers, and collaborate with Production, Quality Assurance and Marketing to ensure accurate documentation and smooth implementation of changes.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school diploma or equivalent.
• Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate from a university or college.
• Previous Food Science/Science background or Bakery/Culinary background.
• Good communication skills with excellent computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Collect and measure parameters for finished product and document the data.
• Update specification based on collected data.
• Communicate updates with cross functional teams including Production, Quality Assurance, Marketing.
• Maintain tracker for activity and update documents including SOPs to reflect changes is needed.

Job Overview

Responsible for assisting the department in developing and updating specifications for process and finished products. The role will also be tasked with assisting Product Development and Technical Services for business critical initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and measure parameters for finished product and document the data
• Update specification based on collected data
• Communicate updates with cross functional teams including Production, Quality Assurance, Marketing
• Maintain tracker for activity and update documents including SOP’s to reflect changes is needed

• Completion of high school diploma or equivalent
• Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate from a university or college
• Previous Food Science/Science background or Bakery/Culinary background
• Good communication skills with excellent computer literacy skills
• Detail oriented with good organization skills
• Understanding basic ingredient functionality and baking parameters
• Ability to change directions as per the needs of the Customer and Give & Go
