Job Title: Product Designer

Pay Range: C$55 - C$65/Hr
Overview:
- We're seeking a seasoned Product Designer for a 9-month contract opportunity with a leading financial services client.
- The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in responsive web design, user research, and system-based design thinking, and thrive in a collaborative, Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design functional, accessible, and visually engaging user journeys
- Deliver user experiences that align with business goals and customer data
- Work within and contribute to the evolution of an established design system
- Conduct end-to-end user research including usability, interaction, and information architecture
- Collaborate with content designers, strategists, developers, and cross-functional stakeholders
- Present and articulate design decisions clearly to all levels of the organization
- Maintain creativity and pragmatism within tight timelines and evolving constraints
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years in UX, UI, or product design roles, focused on responsive web applications
- Skilled in interaction design, information architecture, visual design, and storytelling
- Hands-on experience with tools like Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong understanding of user interface best practices for both web and mobile
- Experience conducting user research using tools like UserZoom or UserTesting
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and how design translates to front-end development
- Effective communicator who can clearly present designs to both technical and business audiences
- Comfortable working independently and iteratively in an Agile environment
- Previous experience in financial services or similar regulated industries is a strong asset
