Job summary

Priceline is seeking a Product Designer to craft end-to-end experiences across web, iOS, and Android, integrating AI-powered workflows with a keen eye for detail and accessibility. You’ll shape critical parts of the traveler’s journey, driving ideas into high-performing designs.

Based in our Toronto office with a two-days-in-office hybrid model, you’ll collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Research teams, bringing 3+ years of experience and a AI-enabled mindset to life.

Product Designer

Craft Seamless Experiences

In this role, you will get to:

• Design Holistic Journeys: Create end-to-end flows across responsive web, iOS, and Android, from wireframes to high-fidelity, testable prototypes. You design for real-world edge cases, not just the happy path.
• Master the Details: A sharp eye for hierarchy, and a talent for making dense pages feel light. You come to critique with your rationale ready, and your decisions hold up when someone asks why.
• Pioneer AI-Powered Workflows: Use AI tools (we use Claude) throughout your process to rapidly explore directions and accelerate execution, while taking complete ownership of every final UX decision and interaction you ship.

Collaborate & Influence

• Be the Connective Tissue: Partner early with Product Managers to challenge assumptions and make sure you are solving the root problem. Work side‑by‑side with Engineering Leads to turn technical constraints into creative opportunities.
• Champion Quality: Give critique that makes work stronger, not just different, and hold a high bar for user experience execution from initial concept through final build.

Listen to the Traveler

• Uncover Insights: Conduct lightweight usability testing and user interviews independently, while partnering with Research on foundational studies.
• Advocate for the User: Turn research findings into meaningful product changes, ensuring the "voice of the customer" is the loudest voice in the room.

Scale the Vision

• Evolve the System: Contribute scalable UI patterns, interaction states, variants, and accessibility standards to Horizon, our design system, so every team at Priceline can build faster and better using shared standards.
• Iterate with Data: Use product KPIs and analytics to measure your design impact. You'll say what you expect a design to do before it ships, then read the outcome alongside your product manager.

Who You Are

• You have 3+ years of Product/UX design experience, with a portfolio demonstrating end-to-end delivery of complex digital products and multi-step user flows, including at least one project where AI was materially part of how you worked.
• Hands‑on with modern AI workflows: You ship work AI helped with and can defend every line as your own decision.
• Comfortable Being Measured: You’re at home in an experimentation culture. You say what you expect your design to do before it ships, you can read a result on your own, and you know why "up 2% but not significant" isn’t a win.
• Problem-First UX Mindset: You look beyond the initial request to uncover the root user problem, and you architect simple solutions for complex logic.
• Accessibility and Real-World Design: You design for edge cases from the start, considering screen readers, low connectivity, and high-stress travel environments.
• Figma Fluency: Highly fluent in Figma, with strong system-level thinking across UI components and interaction design.
• You are a relentless advocate for the customer, ensuring their needs shape our product delivery.
• Illustrated history of living the values necessary to Priceline: Customer, Innovation, Team, Accountability and Trust.

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. In addition to a competitive base salary, certain roles may be eligible for an annual bonus and/or equity grant.

The salary range for this position is CAD 85,000 - 105,000

Priceline is following a hybrid working model, which includes two days onsite as determined by you and your manager (ideally selecting among Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday). On the remaining days, you can choose to be remote or in the office.
