Priceline is seeking a Development Manager - Full Stack to lead and shape our technology direction. You will own the full stack, mentor engineers, and drive cross-team initiatives in a fast-paced, ideas-led environment.

You will collaborate across departments to translate strategy into technical plans, lead multiple projects, and ensure high quality software. Hybrid role with two days in-office, offering strong growth and impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven leader in hiring, mentoring, coaching, and performance management.
• Strong proficiency in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, API and web services; knowledge of React.js, TypeScript, Node.js, GraphQL.

In this role you will get to:

• Provide constructive feedback and influence the performance and career development of high performing engineers.
• Full ownership of the Full Stack of our products, contribute and collaborate with peers on cross team initiatives.
• Continuous collaboration with collaborators across multiple departments and teams to understand their business and product strategies and translate those into strategic technical plans.
• Decide with senior management in developing long-term technology road maps and execution of existing initiatives.
• Lead multiple projects - including planning, prioritization, and task delegation.
• Enforce accountability for the quality of software that is crafted.

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven leader in hiring, mentoring, coaching and developing engineering talent, including performance management.
• Strong proficiency in Java, JavaScript/Typescript, API, webservices and its standard methodologies. Knowledge of React.js, TypeScript, Node.js, GraphQL.
• A creative problem solver to deliver in a fast paced environment who works to find effective solutions. You build relationships and remove barriers and impediments to drive success.
• Ability to drive the development of high scale systems and system integrations.

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. In addition to a competitive base salary, certain roles may be eligible for an annual bonus and/or equity grant.

The salary range for this position is $130,00 - 155,00 CAD.
