Job summary

OPENLANE is hiring a Product Designer to own the user experience from concept to launch. You will perform user research, create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups, and collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver user-centered solutions.

You will contribute to the design system, advocate for usability, and help scale a fast-paced, data-informed product culture across our remote-first teams.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience as a Product Designer or similar role.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your product design process and demonstrating your ability to solve user problems on a variety of device types and surfaces.
• Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• A strong bias for action, self-direction, and a knack for thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the user experience for assigned feature areas from concept to launch.
• Conduct user research, including interviews and usability testing, to inform your designs.
