About the Role

Join our design team at CapIntel as a Product Designer, where collaboration fuels innovation and autonomy empowers ownership. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally to create intuitive, visually appealing, user-centered designs for enterprise-level SaaS web applications. You will contribute to the entire design process, from wireframing to visual design to prototyping, ensuring a seamless user experience within a complex ecosystem of financial products. At CapIntel, we believe both UX and UI are essential components of successful product design, and we seek a candidate with high standards in both disciplines.

What you’ll do

• Conduct user research, create wireframes, build prototypes, develop high-fidelity designs, and iterate based on feedback.
• Ensure designs align with business goals and provide seamless experiences within a complex product ecosystem.
• Balance user needs, technical constraints, and business objectives to craft impactful design solutions.
• Help shape industry-leading wealthtech products that assist people in building their financial futures.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other designers to understand objectives, the product roadmap, and identify opportunities for optimal user experience.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 4 years of proven experience in UI/UX design for responsive web applications.
• Experience using user personas, journey maps, and user flows throughout the design process.
• Experience collaborating with UX Researchers, Content Designers, and other Product Designers to improve user experience.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with established design systems.

Bonus Experience

• Experience conducting qualitative and quantitative user research, usability testing, and contextual inquiries.
• Knowledge of WCAG and ARIA standards for accessible design.
• Experience in fintech/wealthtech, enterprise SaaS, or investment banking industries.
• Experience working in B2B2C environments and navigating compliance-heavy industries.
