About the Role:

We are seeking a strategic and design-driven Product Designer to lead the creation and implementation of intuitive workflows that streamline design processes and elevate product experiences. The ideal candidate possesses a strong sense of aesthetics paired with a solid foundation in usability and accessibility. Your work will directly influence our product offerings, ensuring they are functional, elegant, and aligned with the needs of our users.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design process from concept through execution, including research, workflows, navigation, visual and UX design systems, content structure, and brand alignment.
  • Collaborate with the user research team to support testing efforts by supplying prototypes, analyzing outcomes, and applying insights to refine designs.
  • Understand technical constraints, user objectives, and business requirements to guide design decisions for both current and future products.
  • Identify and act on opportunities to improve the product experience and usability.
  • Use Figma to build and manage comprehensive digital design systems, including the creation and maintenance of reusable components and consistent UX patterns.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of web and mobile design platforms, ensuring alignment with UI/UX best practices.
  • Follow established accessibility standards (W3C) and implement interaction design practices that support inclusive experiences.
  • Work effectively within cross-functional Agile teams, engaging with product managers, developers, and stakeholders throughout all stages of product development.
  • Partner with developers and QA to communicate design intent clearly and ensure accurate implementation of UI/UX elements.
  • Thrive in ambiguous situations and collaborate with integrated teams, ideally with experience in the financial services domain.
  • Communicate complex design decisions effectively through verbal and written formats, with the ability to present confidently to senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and support others in creative decision-making.
  • Balance efficiency, quality, and consistency to deliver exceptional designs.
  • Be a proactive team contributor, fostering collaboration and supporting fellow designers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communications, HCI, or equivalent industry training/experience.
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience designing and delivering digital products.
  • Proven ability to create sophisticated and user-centric interfaces.
  • Solid grasp of visual design principles including composition, hierarchy, typography, and layout.
  • Advanced Figma expertise for building flows, screens, components, and interactive prototypes.
  • Proficient in managing and maintaining design systems and libraries.
  • Experience using Anima to convert Figma components into React code.
  • Capable of delivering high-fidelity, developer-ready assets using Figma and Anima.
  • Demonstrated success working in Agile teams, closely collaborating with product owners and developers.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in a creative agency environment with strong creative confidence.
  • Excellent time management, multitasking, and prioritization abilities.
  • Critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with developing empathy tools such as user journeys.
  • Responsive design experience with accompanying case studies in your portfolio.

Contract Duration: 3 months (with possibility of extension)

Schedule: Monday – Friday
