Job summary

ALSTOM Gruppe is seeking a Logistic Support Analysis Engineer (Life Cycle Cost) in Saint-Bruno, QC, full-time. You will support maintenance strategy reliability and efficiency for rolling stock, collaborating with In-Service Readiness, Engineering, and Operations teams.

You will optimize Life Cycle Cost and develop strategies to cut maintenance costs while improving service efficiency; contribute to cost evaluations and continuous improvement initiatives across projects.

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree or equivalent is required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Service Engineering environment.
  • Good communication skills in English and French.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, Ishikawa.
  • Understanding of rolling stock products and solutions.
  • Familiarity with engineering product structures.
  • Proficiency in SAP, MS Office suite, and Outlook.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; action-oriented and results-driven.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customers to address maintenance or operational issues and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Create, analyze, and optimize maintenance plans.
  • Develop strategies to reduce maintenance costs.
  • Use operational feedback to improve service strategies.

Could you be the full-time Logistic Support Analyst (LSA) in Saint-Bruno we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your logistic support analysis expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated and collaborative teammates.You'll play a key role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of maintenance strategies for rolling stock equipment. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (In-Service Readiness, Engineering, and Operations teams), collaborate with internal and external partners to address maintenance and operational challenges, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of optimizing Life Cycle Cost & also developing strategies to reduce maintenance costs and improve service efficiency.

We’ll look to you for:
  • Collaborating with customers to address maintenance or operational issues and identifying optimization opportunities
  • Creating, analyzing, and optimizing maintenance plans
  • Developing strategies to reduce maintenance costs
  • Using operational feedback to improve service strategies
  • Evaluating the maintenance cost of the systems over their service life (LCC - Life Cycle Cost)
