Job summary

Jim Pattison Subaru Coquitlam is seeking a driven Product Advisor to join our sales team. You will guide customers through the vehicle purchase journey, present options, and negotiate deals while delivering a premium customer experience.

Previous automotive sales experience is not required; we welcome motivated individuals with strong sales mindset, communication skills, and drive to succeed. Training and development are provided within a high-volume dealership environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Eligible to obtain a VSA license.
• Must be available all days of the week, including evenings and weekends; shifts will average 40 hours per week.
• Strong work ethic with a high level of energy and motivation to succeed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer focused mindset with the ability to build rapport and trust.
• Highly organized with the ability to multi task and follow up consistently.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast paced sales environment.
• Previous sales or customer service experience is a strong asset, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers in a professional and engaging manner, both in store and through phone and online inquiries.
• Build rapport with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable vehicle options.
• Conduct vehicle presentations and test drives.
• Present pricing, financing options, and assist in structuring deals in collaboration with management.
• Maintain accurate and consistent follow up using CRM tools to manage leads and customer relationships.
• Coordinate vehicle deliveries and ensure a seamless handover experience.
• Continuously develop product knowledge and stay up to date on OEM features, technology, and market trends.
• Contribute to team success by maintaining a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Jim Pattison Subaru Coquitlam is looking for a driven, energetic, and results-focused Product Advisor to join our growing Sales Team.

If you’re passionate about sales, enjoy meeting new people, and are motivated by achieving and exceeding targets, this is an opportunity to build a rewarding career in the automotive industry. You’ll work directly with customers throughout the vehicle-buying process, from understanding their needs and presenting the right vehicle to negotiating deals and building long-term relationships.

A day in the Life
