Job summary

Jim Pattison Toyota Northshore is seeking an energetic Product Advisor to guide customers through the vehicle purchase journey, delivering a premium customer experience aligned with the Toyota brand. You will welcome customers in store and via phone and online inquiries, demonstrate vehicles, present pricing and financing options, and help structure deals with management.

The role is full-time (40 hours/week) with a variable commission structure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends.
• Sales or customer service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers in a professional and engaging manner in store, on phone and online.
• Build rapport to understand needs and recommend vehicle options.

Schedule

This is a full-time, permanent role of 40 hours per week.

Pay Range

Variable commission structure.

This role reports to the Sales Manager of the dealership.

A day in the Life

As a Product Advisor, you will be responsible for guiding customers through the entire vehicle purchase journey, while delivering a premium customer experience aligned with the Toyota brand.

• Welcome and assist customers in a professional and engaging manner, both in store and through phone and online inquiries.
• Build rapport with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable vehicle options.
• Conduct vehicle presentations and test drives.
• Present pricing, financing options, and assist in structuring deals in collaboration with management.
• Maintain accurate and consistent follow up using CRM tools to manage leads and customer relationships.
• Coordinate vehicle deliveries and ensure a seamless handover experience.
• Continuously develop product knowledge and stay up to date on OEMfeatures, technology, and market trends.
• Contribute to team success by maintaining a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Success in this role comes from consistent effort, strong follow up habits, and the ability to build trust with customers.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Eligible to obtain a VSA license.
• Must be available all days of the week, including evenings and weekends. Shifts will average 40 hours per week.
• Strong work ethic with a high level of energy and motivation to succeed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer focused mindset with the ability to build rapport and trust.
• Highly organized with the ability to multi task and follow up consistently.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast paced sales environment.
• Previous sales or customer service experience is a strong asset, but not required.
