Job summary

Sobeys in Alberta is looking for a friendly Produce Clerk to help stock, rotate and present fresh produce while assisting customers and keeping the department neat and organized.

Training is provided; you will join a fast-paced retail team and help maintain appealing displays. Evening and weekend shifts are common, with flexible scheduling to accommodate student or part-time work.

Responsibilities

• Upholds and complies with company procedures, standards and policies in all situations
• Greets customers in a polite and friendly manner
• Demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with Sobeys programs
• Stocking produce and related product to shelves such as (Frozen, perishable and non-perishables)
• Maintaining and building merchandise displays in compliance with Sobeys programs
• Rotation of product
• Loading and unloading of product for the sales floor
• Backroom and inventory management
• Operating a cash register as needed for relief during peak business hours
• Any other duties as assigned by the Store Manager
