Job summary

Longos is seeking a passionate Produce Department Manager to lead a fast-paced team in its Toronto-area store. You will drive daily operations, coach staff, manage inventory and merchandising, and ensure strong customer service and meeting financial targets.

The role requires 2+ years in a produce department with management experience, strong systems skills, and a commitment to food safety and company standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-years experience in a produce department with Management experience and product knowledge.
• Thorough understanding of financials with a proven track record of delivering on financial targets.
• Strong computer skills and ability to quickly learn new systems.
• Understanding of Employment Standards, WHMIS, Food Safety and Loss Prevention practices.
• Ability to role model and inspire behaviour consistent with our values.
• Strong coaching and mentoring skills.
• Ownership to resolve issues with a sense of urgency.
• Effective communication and listening skills.
• Strong creativity skills and ability to create eye catching displays.

Position: Produce Department Manager - Full Time
