Longo’s is seeking a Meat Assistant Department Manager - Full Time in Vaughan, Canada to lead daily operations in the meat department and support the Meat Manager in guiding a high-performing team. You will mentor Team Members, maintain standards, and drive customer service excellence.

• Minimum of 1-year experience in a meat department
• Solid understanding of product knowledge
• Previous experience with cutting meat
• Knowledge of raw materials, product processes and quality control costs
• Strong customer service skills and ability to build relationships
• Ability to lead, coach, motivate and work in a fast paced environment
• Strong computer skills and ability to quickly learn new systems
• Ownership to resolve issues with a sense of urgency
• Effective communication and listening skills
• Strong creativity skills and ability to create eye catching displays
